Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, **Hayweezy** grew up surrounded by the sounds, energy and culture that would later shape his identity as a DJ. His sets are built around movement, energy and connection, moving seamlessly between Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House, Reggaeton and R&B while responding to the crowd in real time. With a digital laptop setup, Hayweezy keeps his performances dynamic and focused on the moment.
Now based in Mallorca, he is building his presence across Spain and beyond, bringing the energy and influence of Lagos to the European nightlife scene.
Hayweezy was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, where music was part of everyday life. From the streets and record shops to the sounds coming from cars, parties and local spots, he grew up surrounded by the rhythms, energy and culture that would eventually shape his identity as a DJ.
In 2024, he moved to Mallorca, Spain, bringing his Lagos influence into a new environment. What began with a deep connection to Afrobeats gradually evolved into a versatile sound that blends Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afro House with Reggaeton, R&B and the deeper, tougher edge of European club music.
Hayweezy is all about the live experience. Using a digital laptop setup, he builds his sets around the room, the crowd and the moment rather than following a fixed formula. His sound can move from familiar Afrobeats records and infectious Amapiano grooves to Afro House, Reggaeton, R&B and deeper club cuts, while maintaining a strong sense of rhythm and energy.
His approach is rooted in movement and connection. Every set is an opportunity to bring different influences together, creating a sound that reflects both his Lagos upbringing and his experience within Spain's evolving nightlife scene.
Now based in Mallorca, Hayweezy is building his presence across Spain, with his sound reaching dance floors and audiences beyond the island. His goal is simple: bring the energy, rhythm and spirit of Lagos to every dance floor he steps onto.
